Fair to middlin' of nowhere

I have an imprint
of a silver pendant
on my chest,
a bruise
upon my knee,
and an upper puffy lip,
courtesy of a collision
into the concrete side
of an icy overpass.
I feel blessed.
I didn’t go over.
I got to walk away.

Oooh! I'm so glad also, that sounds like it could have been trouble with a capital "T." So happy you walked, or rode away from it in an ambulance. Had to have been scary as heck. Who was in fault and if it was the other vehicle hope they had insurance.Yeah I know first responder!

That bridges are always the first to freeze is true. From the sound of it, no other car was involved, just yours, the ice, and the overpass. Did your airbags deploy? Sometimes the bag in the steering wheel has been known to split lips and make one look like a raccoon for a few days.

Better take some time off doll. You've already counted your blessings.

I'll keep some good thoughts for you as I know others will too.

Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me!

Jerry,
Just me and the ice and I walked away and Dennis came and gave me a ride to work. The car was totaled. ~L

Yes Capo, the airbag and I went 1 round. No black eyes. Just knocked my glasses off without breaking them. I feel better this morning than I did when I went to bed last night. I was afraid I would really be feeling worse. I really am blessed. ~L

Oh my Lori! Thank God you're ok..for the most part. Try to take it easy..those aches & pains
can sneak up on you later, so rest.
Glad you walked away dear lady.

This is frightening, dear Lori. Good to learn that you are feeling better.

Indeed, an Angel was by your side.

Love and hugs.
