Love in Action

As I picked her up
in my old pick-up truck
I couldn't help
but think and anticipate
of the beauty of her lips
is they are full of tenderness;
and now I can feel them,
and now I taste them,
and to me this
is satisfaction,
to me this is love
in action.

Thank you JamesMichael for your nice reply to my poem. Billy and me have an older Ford pickup and we have a lots of fun driving and sometimes just sitting out of town in it talking and kinda acting like in your sweet poem too!

It was just a thought which made them run. It was just an act that killed them.

Sadly we don’t have pickup trucks in the UK, we make do with beat up old bangers and misty windows, seems to work Ok though. We do have a surprise waiting for our American drivers—roundabouts. One told us that he went round five times before he got off the damn thing, unfortunately at the wrong exit.
