some holiday cheer
tickling a tune for Christmas
family tips well

Happy holidays y'all!

I've been practicing my "y'all'" and my "how y'all doin" since moving here to Louisiana and I think I have it down pretty good. At least fewer people are asking me, "yer not frum aroun' heer are y'all"?

See? That t'weren't bad!

Whaddya think JerryPat? Would you buy a used car from a guy like me?

Tickle on Mr. Fingers, you're a good card player. Thanks for the wishes.

Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me!

Why bother practicing "y'all" when you have a perfect grand language of your own? This "y'all" post has all the trappings of the beat up on the south. Again, why practice?

Anyway, it is y'all . . . One word, one syllable, y'all

J/K JerryPat, J/K. I get it lot's and have fun with it. I remember an episode of Green Acres where Eb got $50 for giving a 'carpetbagger' "howdy neighbor" lessons.

Now then, about that car deal...

Merry Christmas Tf!
One nice thing about growing up in Kansas- we don't have accents like the rest y'all...

Merry Christmas to you too!

Pip, among other things, is my practicing field for the English language and in the 12 years I have been around I have learned quite a lot of expressions (though of course I forget them time and time again)!

Love and peace.
