Just A Slice Of The Pie

Billy Joe and me
went to buy a Christmas tree
in our old ford truck

we found a scotch pine
after we found a scotch pint
tree and we loaded

drive down old thirteen
then the truck began to lean
a scotch pine bailout

It was just a thought which made them run. It was just an act that killed them.

With a pint of Scotch my good woman, you should not have been on any road in any vehicle. I am happy to see you here to write about it.

Goodness gracious, dear Stacy Lynn, you are quite the couple of adventurers I'd say! Was fun to read, but I guess and hope you'll be thinking twice before repeating the experience.

Eh . . . Sometimes we just have to set aside certain rules and do as we will. Even so, you can count yourself lucky that all you lost was the tree.
