Star Wars of the Mind

In the movie world
there is much ado
about the importance
or creativity
of Star Wars;
fortunately the stars
have no quarrels at all,
not now or in the imaginary future,
the stars are in harmony,
fulfilling there purpose
as the God that created
this earth declared.
Sadly, it is man that
can not live in harmony,
creating new layer upon layer
of chaos and disorder;
so much that even in imaginary worlds
of the future, man wants to create
star wars inside their minds.

Give Man an inch of altitude and he'll take 5,280 feet.

Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me!

Not bad, James, your thought process was working overtime when you penned this.

You are right, dear James, insofar men seem unable, and they actually are not evolved enough in my opinion, to imagine worlds of complete harmony. Where men are involved, there is always chaos, sadly.

To a certain extent I am also fascinated by science fiction movies, because I love to imagine to travel across the Milky Way etc., but, like you, I don't like violence in whatever form it is perpetrated.

Love and peace.

well said indeed ! ...

too bad so many (most?) video games are all about violence and conflict as well.

It was the Summer of 1978 ... I was finishing my Masters degree at Penn State
University. It was the first (and probably last) time that I shall ever see a movie
theater audience give a 'standing ovation' to a movie (the 1st. 'Star Wars')!
