Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Entrancing is the page
Blank
Cursor heart beating
Waiting
For the dance
To begin
‘tween thoughts
And fingertips
No waltzing
Not tap
Something modern
And moody
Tremendous rushes
Pensive pecking
Stupefying silence
Rapid reversal
And so it goes
Red lines appear
And disappear
And green ones
That last forever
Entranced in this dance
Upon the page
Mesmerized
For days at a time

Hah! Yes, I understand and am at one with this one. Mesmerized big time.

Yes, I'll bet you can! You are much more prolific than I. ~L

yes, it is dancelike...this writing of verse
we have partners, (brain, and heart) and corners,
(words we like, but reject) and of course
the rest of the square... (the community of our words)
we go round, and round the square,
(rejecting words, and phrases)
but land in the comfort of home in the end. ( the finished piece)

This is what your poem said to me, and I like what you said.
