Fair to middlin' of nowhere

T is for trying to get your pants fastened after dinner.
H is for having seconds on everything.
A is for Aunt Alice’s asparagus casserole nobody likes.
N is for the nap you’re going to take after dinner.
K is for the kitchen that is a total mess.
S is for all the sips of wine it took to get through fixing dinner.
G is for the gravy stains on the tablecloth.
I is for the indigestion from Ina’s cranberry relish.
V is for Velma’s varicose veins.
I is for irritable children dressed in their Sunday best.
N is for no more pumpkin pie.
G is for the groaning as we leave the table.

Funny how "acrostic" rhymes a bit with caustic. My own ego aside, like "Mr. Martini is a most [a]c[r]austic individual".

Enough of me. Yours is an splendid entertainment for the upcoming holiday Lori Rhoden.

Poor Velma. Maybe I could help her with those.

Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me!

Great work on this Miss Lori. If I had to pick just one of all these, I'd pick 'H'. Good food & trimmings always brings me back for 'seconds.!

She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast".
