Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Winston is an old Schnauzer of small stature
but large aspirations.
His snoz will lead him to great heights
in search of culinary delights.
He will leave nothing he encounters unturned
as he snuffles and climbs the furniture.
Pillows and throws to the wayside
as he scales the back face of Mt. Sofa.
Its apex is the land bridge
to the kitchen counter and Mecca.
He plows through the decor
knocking it to the floor.
He crosses over the sink of many baths
to reach the stove of greasy pan to lick.
Still fearless and undaunted
he navigates across the stove top
to the final counter and
the coveted butter dish.
Having come and conquered all,
he returns to Mt. sofa
to descend her
and sleep satisfied at her foot.
Little does he realize,
his master can move mountains
and create bastions of philodendron  planters.
Winston and the War of Wills
gains momentum.

Nicely detailed episodes of Sir Winston. This pal of yours could easily be my cat.

We already gave up trying to keep the cat off the counters. At least she doesn't knock everything over and I can keep her out of the butter. Thanks for the read! ~L

Hey Jerry, that is a great idea! Zoe might just love a little kitten. And the fact you just tolerate the little cuties is all the better for her not getting so jealous. Bring it home in a closed box and just let her go crazy wanting what is inside. `L

As confined as Zoe and I are in The Hovel, maybe it wouldn't be a good idea. I'll think about it though, I'd really like to try it.

Just put a shelf up on the wall it can climb up to and it won't be under foot.
