Wintry 'Haikoids':

not by choice
I hide in myself
Wintry seclusion

morning mist
painting this dream
of Autumn passing

a love-blossom
memory floats
the deep pool
of loneliness

love reflects
in her eyes___
only a dream

only two things
worth remembering
I loved you and
    Haiku

an extended "Indian Summer" blew away in the teeth
of a N.W. wind and arctic air mass 'round these parts ...

Very nice generally, but the last one blew me away! It's perfection.

Such concise and memorable words you have strung together, Bruce . . . Simple and amazingly vibrant!

thanks so much ... to each of you!

The months of Nov. and Feb. and the so-called "Holiday Season" in America
seem for me like they are always right out of Anton Chekhov's descriptions of
bleakest Winter. I have to be really careful that my 'writes' don't become way
too 'dark' during these times each year in particular.

shdpoet, Felt as if each were framed
in fresh fallen snow, but yet each
had the tender warmth of a crackling fire.

Enjoyed..
