Motionless I stand in the sun
nature holds its breath
the trees stop to hum
the melody of the breeze,
exhausted bees fall asleep
within charming corollas.
Silence spreads its cover
over all source
of dissonance.

Soul sounds start
to carry me softly.
Sunrays seek me out
dancing around me
like golden flames,
worshipping and awakening
the sunchild that slumbers
within my core.
I am ready to drift off
into the land of dreams
where I walk blissfully
hand in hand with you.

My eyes close
to the world around me,
they open to the vastness
of your cosmic attraction.
Your eyes are the portals
to unknown heavenly prairies,
with horizons of starlight
and new itineraries
of love to explore.

I break my chains
matter loses its hold on me
my feet obey
to the pull of the sky,
unbound and free,
wings in place,
I set off to fly
across the spheres
of pure harmony.

Spellbound by You!

"and new itineraries
of love to explore." . . . Yesss!

These two lines are the breakthrough into this fabulous poem, Margherita! The lines, combined with the magnificent photo you have shared are perfect together. Letting yourself go enough to clasp a lover's hand (either real or from memory) and allow the sun access to you and yours is something very, very precious!

Thank you so much, dear Jerry, for your generous comment. You actually pointed out exactly what inspired me to write this poem ... an incredibly intense emotion in a recent dream where I "walked hand in hand" with someone ... "precious"!   And also the scene in full sunshine was real, as well as the related feelings.

Now a song comes to mind "In dreams" by Roy Orbison https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPqZs7Vl_xg

Thank you kindly, dear Jimmy, for your most loving comment! I am glad I followed my inspiration today. When we postpone, often we miss an opportunity to "listen to our hearts".

Thank you so much, dear James, for your loving comment. We are "in the flow" as long as love and life "move" together, that's the key of harmony.

Dear Yann, thank you for your kind reply. I especially enjoyed that you found "solace" in reading my words, that's a great reaction indeed.

Dear Karilea, to touch your heart is a perfect pleasure. The soft of US always wants to surface, despite "upstream struggles" ... Thank you so much!

Love,
Margherita

Beautiful photo, fits your words so well
Margherita.

Love this verse...

My eyes close
to the world around me,
they open to the vastness
of your cosmic attraction.
Your eyes are the portals
to unknown heavenly prairies,
with horizons of starlight
and new itineraries
of love to explore.

That's really getting into an open peaceful space!

Once again, dear Ida and dear Eric, I am smiling and thank you both for your kind and generous replies. I actually thought this was not the page of today! But I see Ida has enjoyed diving and bringing up again these two poems of some time ago. Thank you!

Love and joy.
