Fair to middlin' of nowhere

The weight of untruths told
however unintended
submerge me in guilts of gray.
The ambiguity of honesty
deals in denial.
Too late reality
becomes clear to me.
I lie in state
as the appeased file by.
My bones hang in the closet
rattling incessantly.

Sometimes it is better to have a stronger defense concerning those maybe unintended untruths. I've been there, I relate somewhat.

My wheels barked twice before landing as well Miss Lori, but 'any landing you can walk away from is a good one'.

All were supremely intended. I played well, but the songs fell on unappreciative ears.

...We were all just a 'couple' of misunderstandings.

(pun intended.)

TF,
Wish I hadn't been quite so stubborn and dense and held on for a decade beyond good sense. ~L

Guilty as charged. I have a few bones rattling in my closet as well.

Perhaps we only can be honest when using metaphors?

Pete,
Good question! Yes, I think they do. That is where they rattle the loudest sometimes. ~L
