A Government Gone Astray

On a Christian news show
they talked about a college
football coach who was told
he didn't have the right
to have his football team
knell and pray on the sidelines;
yet our government that wants to
tell us we don't have the right
to pray to God, wants to tell us
we have the right to kill babies
and for gays to be married,
while marriage is for a man
and a woman and for a family.
A government that doesn't value life
nor the sanctity of marriage,
nor freedom of religion,
is a government gone astray.

"There is a way which seems right to a man,
but its end is the way of death."..Proverbs 14:12.

"The backslider in heart will filled with his
own ways,
But a good man will be satisfied from above."
Proverbs 14:14.

"A wise man fears and departs from evil,
But a fool rages and is self-confident."
Proverbs 14:16.

These activities, as tragic, bizarre, and disturbing as they be, should not alarm you James. According to scripture, you should expect these horrible things to happen.

The Second Book of Timothy, chapter 3, verses 1 through 7 are a fantastically relative read.

On the way to close the chapter is this:
quote:

2 Timothy 3:13-15 (King James Version)

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
As we draw closer, things will worsen beyond our imaginations,"and the end is not yet".

P.S Should we not be discussing these issues in the 'Spiritual' forum?

She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast".
