Yeah, we smoked a Turkey just a week ago - told my wife, in a week or two, a test pumpkin pie!!

I also have lost the fun in Holidays since my children are all grown and my husband departed to a higher life it just seems another day of the year to me. jo

For those who celebrate the holidays, I wouldn't be the pooper. I have my own take on them which is shared by some, deplored and criticized by others.

Sometimes I miss a note here and there, but no one ever notices. You learn to cover those things.

Enjoy the holidays friends and take along some 88's as you do!


She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast".

Thanks for your comments on the Holidays.

I dread them-because I'm not feelin' it. Then at the last minute I usually snap out of it and get a little jolly in my holly.

This will be my first "empty nest" Holiday.
We'll see how that goes... ~L
