the moon hangs heavy, bright orange
and large tonight
I am consumed with its beauty
I look away
I don't know, something different about it
but I take another look
feel like the strange moon
has enveloped me
that feeling dissolves my wariness
still, I feel my flesh crawl
the silhouette darts
in and out of the moon's luster
I don't know
maybe I am hallucinating
the silhouette looks familiar
I'm not sure
it isn't even there
oooh, the orange brightness of the moon
wraps me in its embrace
I feel intimacy complete
the silhouette
who . . . what . . . is it
have I finally seen the man in the moon

good one ! (especially for the month of Halloween) ... I always feel most
'connected' to some 1500 yrs. of my Celtic ancestors during this month
(seems like a veil between worlds within worlds is thinnest in Oct. and
beyond midnight) ... especially beneath that Autumn moon!

I think a full moon and Halloween comes at the same time this year. Thanks, Lori.

They're predicting ring here so there goes both of them effectively.  But, those weather-witches can't accurately predict this afternoon, so maybe they blow Halloween too.

Hah! . . . Actually I tend to agree with you, Jimmy. With all that sophisticated equipment at their fingertips, they are sometimes better off to walk outside and hold their fingers above their heads to see if it will rain or not.
