An  Oldie . . .

I went to the mailbox today
expecting the usual junk mail
bills and sale at tent city.
To my complete surprise
instead I found treasures
beautiful and "arty"
for my eyes only
from her
there really is a Santa Claus

Revealing mail box mysteries is right up there among my favorite things to do JerryPat. To get a personal, handwritten letter from someone 'special', is totally exhilarating!

Good write!

Myself, I have a quarter mile round trip out to the box and back. I'm happy and optimistic on the way out, but sometimes, on the bay wack, m'I fusedcon dan ejectedd.

I know what you mean about the trip to and from that mailbox, Ticklefingers . . . More times  than ever I  come back with a fistful of bills . . . Wasn't able to decipher  the last of your comment.

My oldest brother still writes letters. They are always an event! He fills them with humor and whimsy. Bless his heart, they make my day and then some. ~L

Good for your brother. My letter also was filled with "with humor and whimsy." I still have the doodles framed and on the wall. Thank you for being here, Lori.
