He looked at the moon,
Clouding with fog,
From the window
Of an empty room.

They moved out the bed
The carpet everything,
Couldn't stand the place,
Where she had died.

He remembered the wake,
It might have been a dream,
He remembered the coffin,
But to him; it wasn't her.

He breathed on the window
And as if like magic
The image began to form,
And his sight began to blur.

It had been a long night,
She had looked at the moon
Clouding with fog
From the window
Of a sweet smelling room.

Like a sweet reminiscence. Delicate, yet keenly aware of the swing of the scythe.

88's friend

She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast".
