Happy pretty lies fall from
tainted lips
Lies so sweet
Lies so...believable
The magic of words twisted
until their meaning is lost
And truth, tarnished yet pure
breathes her last breath
As she disconnects from reality
As deception becomes belief

And truth is on life support
waiting for a miracle
Waiting on open eyes and
open hearts
And truth is on life support
Because its easier to turn away
Than sacrifice...
Easier to believe the pretty
little lies...
Easier to pull the plug...
...and it dies
