May of the Morning |

May of the morning... Rises to become my sun Window-box flowers sing to your smile That gives light to their petals And life to their delicate leaves Rooms filled with airs about you A gift that transcends the time That I beg to spend close by you Now that I've found you again May of the evening... Glows in radiance as my lovers' moon Tides move quietly from the shore Whispering her name on gentle breakers Her silvery lace flows with southern compliments As she fills my spirit and refreshes my soul Long will be the night she promises And we two to know its pleasures 'Til the sun wakes the sleeping flowers once again She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |

Ahhh . . . Such a beautiful piece of poetical writing, Ticklefingers. The whole poem was written so smoothly each line merged into the next line effortlessly. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

I'm always really amazed at how many different writing styles the various poets have who traverse these fine blue sands of "P.I.P.-land by the cyber-sea! ... A particularly fine line!: "Her silvery lace flows with southern compliments" |
