Beneath the frost and leafy loam
Lie hopes and thoughts; imaginings
Of red and yellow tinted cups,
Blue bow bells and Wordsworth’s luck.
Whatever tints they aspire to be
For now, those bulbous flaky husks of
Colourless green ideas,
Sleep furiously.
