As the Deer

In the forest
upon the mountain
all is well,
for the rain is plentiful
and the streams are lively
and the ponds are all overflowing;
and all the animals in the forest
have plenty to eat and drink
and grow strong and live healthy,
while in yonder meadow
longings are being satisfied
this very moment
as the deer
quenches his
thirst...

This is beautiful and reminds me of another hymn (one of my favorites)..it has a lovely piano accompaniment..
