Fair to middlin' of nowhere

There is still
a bit of a chill…
A stiffness if you will
slight and subtle.
Stubborn, guttural
knotted internal.
Slow to unravel.

Hah.Heh Yeah, Lori I can dig it. Oh! Heard back from the dermatologists . . .The biopsy proved out to be cancerous. Supposed to cut it out Sept. 22. Drat!

Just wanted you to know. I think everything will be okay. It isn't melanoma, just skin cancer. I shouldn't have even brought it up here. I apologize.

I will attempt now to comment on your poem. I was so engrossed with my own piddlin' problems I walked right over it.

I understand about the chill and better even than that I know the chill for what it is worth. Yes, the thaw is progressing, but not nearly fast enough for you. Stubbornness to the nth, can destroy what progress has been made. Eh . . . Whadda I know?

The stiff and stubborn is in me. I'm not back to my "like it never happened yet". I know full well it is only baggage butting heads and has little to do with us at all. I get frustrated with getting knotted up in old emotions from the past.  Lord have mercy how that crap likes to hang on. This has been a good outlet for me. Thanks for being here. ~L

Hi Lori, I know about some days that get off to a chill start, and it takes a while to find one's feet.
