Houston commercial photography

I am taking time to enjoy leisurely musings -
the roses on a small patch of garden
stand proudly huge and so red -
spring and warm sun, intermittent light showers
bring all growing things to life.
it's the season for full blooms

Unlike an alchemist who seek
to simplify complex things,
I look at an ordinary flower and never cease
to wonder in awe that its stems and leaves
contain an endless universe of mystery, not
the random creation of a mad hobbyist.

A candle flickers in the dark -
perhaps by the whisper of wind passing;
my mind hops like birds flitting
from one tree limb to another
in search of seeds begging to be picked -
the forest flourishes through their random droppings.

Life is a universe run by clockwork, but
motion does not seem to be predictable-
what goes up does not always come down,
we dare to believe what is above, so below,
earth mirrors the stars and the heavens
the subconscious sees what the eye misses.

If people are brought together for a reason
in any one room or queue line or seated in a plane-
is this predestined by Loki,  god of mischief
playing his game of tricks, while we in utter ignorance
shrug off these random moments, memorable
but forever irretrievable as the past.

In the end, we wait, and we don't anticipate.
Good things may come. Or not.
We don't gamble or throw a dice
We walk our path, do not pursue
but allow surprises to happen. flavor a moment.
Such is the fascinating paradox of randomness.

Yes, you were definitely in a contemplative mood when you wrote this semi-rambling poem. Semi only in the sense that you allowed your mind to wonder and grasp thoughts far and wide and condense them into very readable poetry. Nice work.
