To write from deep within
The words
True 'self' reveal

Thus - Symbiotic -
Equal Strength and Weakness
Exposed
Laid bare

On a mirror
Turned within...

. . . darkness usually occurs when those two get together, at least that has been my take on the subject. Then again dark can be good if you can control it, but hell, who wants to control it . . .

So true -writing from within is laying bare your soul, exposing your inmost self, takes strength and courage..like turning a mirror to what you are within.

Am I right on my take of your poem, which by the way is very deep.

Jerry - there is something to that, though I would add that the particular 'blending' of the two, the mix, is what makes us unique - but how we handle and express those qualities to the external world is what defines us, at least perceptively.

James - thank you for stopping by.

jjote - thank you for reading and commenting. And - yes, you hit the nail on the head. Exactly as intended.
