Domestic bliss

Damn she said
As the oven emitted smoke
The roast lamb now a burnt offering
To the Gods of married bliss

How had it got to this
She thought
The toil and drudgery
Another day gone

And there he sat
Chewing on the lamb
A rabid dog no better
As he wiped his greasy chin

And then relax for some
His pot belly TV bound
And then to bed
Feigning sleep until the snores begin.

Ouch, Michael, poor woman!  Was it not she who was feigning sleep?

Haven't had lamb in a while - do enjoy though.
Like beef - getting far to expensive.

Sympathy here... I love Zombie novels --- My wife snores - she often sounds like one, I wear earplugs and sleep with one eye open.

hee, hee.
