Fair to middlin' of nowhere

The wind prevailed
my nose assailed
by the artificially pretty scent
coming from my dryer vent.

Gratefully upwind of dogs at bay,
I breathe deep the prairie hay.
Down along the river bend scene,
can almost taste the scent of shaded green.

I’m wafted by manure
from too many cattle in a pasture.
I’m soon blessed by sweet clover
the next mile over.

The fresh-black, hot asphalt
is an unnatural odor assault.
All the scents of the spectrum
buzz my wind swept septum.

I follow the wind where  ever I please
and then I sneeze and sneeze and sneeze…

Hah! That's me, the sneezing part. At some point during the day I always begin sneezing. And when I sneeze I sneeze for a long time. Love the various scents which came to you as you traversed the land. Just enjoyed everything about this one . . .
