Can't deem a thought-
your lips won't spill,
Don't want to pry-
but know I will.

I soft-hand hold you,
lift your lid-
Silence astounds,
A soul. In bid!
"Sides are warring-
strike 'em back...
Don't bow down
to heart's attack!"

"Small-box your fears,
and stand erect-
I"ll shoulder you,"
so circumspect.
"I'll grow your whim-
and spin it gold,
Give you his heart-
if you're so bold,
to spend so many
years in-hold."

Just judge not-
I tried to help-
don't think him much,
(not near enough)
to be the One
you're meant to love.

Vernacular fails...
I sense defeat,
You've tapped your heart,
and crave the bleed...
I'll blend in wind,
my dearest friend-
~Honesty Slays~
...on seethe and cringe
I exit stage.

And I cannot, cannot go...

Great title.  Caught the play on words there.    I know you feel *defeated, but you stood up where many would have just stood quietly and watched.  There is victory enough in just that, but that you did it out of love and concern will never be forgotten on the other end I am sure.  You have a beautiful heart, Tanya.  Mine aches for yours right now.

Absolutely love the last two lines, Devina. Much soul sharing within the framework of this sad piece of work. Eh . . . A shame to say, but we must do what we must to do when certain misfortunes happens to us. This was well written, one of, if not the, best I have been fortunate to read of yours.

hi devina, this is a very sensitive gift, i love the words, like giving your very soul in offrand, but there is like some misunderstanding, and then refusal, the words are great to express that, and the sadness they convey,
