With Thanks I Rise

what
morning’s fruit
awaits this day

sun
glinting the
horizon climbing

toward
high in the sky
breezes cooling

accelerating
shaking tree and
flower as the hour

creeps
into the diem
granted those

that
arose with glee
or with mourning

sleep’s
exiting leap
beyond dreams

into
realities grip
slipping out the bed

covers
to accost challenges,
opportunities ahead minus

the
dread living
can provide, embracing

seizing,
willingly, gifts
and possibilities

life has a way of passing us by if we don't seize the gifts and possibilities it presents us with.  Love this.

This is a stellar example of the
in-and-out flow of a day in passing.

your words are gentle breeze here lady!
