Somethin’ just ain’t right with me My enthusi lost its asm . My rise and shine is down and dim. Up and at ‘em is down for the count. I’m neither bright-eyed nor bushy-tailed. My get up and go has long since went. The worms don’t miss that early bird. My eager beaver is a sullen sloth. There is no zippity in my do-da. Oh, blah gray. Oh, blah day. Somethin’ just ain’t right with me. LGR©5/1/15 |

I have the perfect cure, Lori! Just read your poem! I am sure you will laugh as much as I did. That second line, especially, is a giggle-rigger if ever there was one! |

I have moments like that... though they tend to last far longer than a day usually. Here's hoping your "blah" isn't nearly so stubborn. Michael |
