There is less far from the earth to the moon,
From the man to the woman,
from the rose to the missed fox,
There is less far from Rio to Melun,
from water which boils to the water which freezes,
from the bell ti the magic flute,
from the stone to the leaf of olive tree,
There is less far from the city to the countryside,
From French to Breton,
from the clock to the silence,
There is less far from love to the sea,
from daytime to the night table,
There is less far from the earth to the moon
That between what we do and what we say …

Great poetic pondering, dear Yann. Whatever we may perceive about distances ... in the end we have to consider that everyone and everything is connected.

Much enjoyed your words.

Love,
Margherita

very imaginative comparisons of distances..I like most:
"from clock to silence", "from daytime to night table"

"from the clock to the silence,
There is less far from love to the sea"

my favorite part. really enjoyed this so much! your comparison and contrasts of distance really made me think.
