Cookie, cookie on the plate,
why do you antagonize my mental state?
You lie there appearing innocent and serene,
all the while being seductive and mean.
You put my senses into a haze
as you evoke my gluttonous ways.
Your many kinds are relentless.
Against all I am defenseless.
I will not hesitate,
each and every one I will annihilate.
I’ll feel the rush
with each crumb I crush
within my mouth of drool.
I have become the fool
of these concoctions of sweet,
that will be my downfall and defeat.

Eh . . . You already know my thoughts on the subject. The human psyche, or thought process is free to tempt fate or to go for all the gusto you can. Gusto in this sense means a cookie on your plate. Heh.Heh
