Being the Right One

To some nothing quite as silly
as an old Elvis Presley movie,
it seems he would always win
the woman with his charms
by leading her on
and singing her an Elvis song.
He seemed so happy,
few cares in this world
that he couldn't deal with by
winning the heart of the girl.
In Elvis movies
flirting with the girls
always gave Elvis so much fun
but in real life he seemed to have
many problems finding the right one.

I doubt I could handle the fish bowl reality that follows a person with extream fame, irregardless of fortune. I think he was under contract to star in x number of Hollywood movies and he never ever had any input into their content. I don't think he even wanted to be in any of them. What I do know, is that whenever he's played on the radio, I reach out and turn up the volume

he was so cool in appearance and action in his movies but seemed to be tormented in his private life...james
