The story of so many lovers, words spoken, issues resolved, until the next one show up to spoil the party. Sorry about the negativity, Rex, I guess it is because I have been down so many roads that never quite panned out. The poem was excellent . . .

Thanks Jerry... I guess very few can say they walk an idealistic road in life. I've experienced the view from more than one vantage point myself

I like that your poem is so short and sweet. It kind of goes like that in life too. When it comes to matters of the heart, if it gets wrenched, it is unbearable. Put things back in place again and it loves like always. And it can be quick to go either way. ~L
