I was cold

I've never been very smart at the game
Nor do I dress properly for the weather
Especially when the forecast said sleet
And I only cared about impressing you...

You were too into the psychology games
Did figure out my flaws as I shivered?

You asked me if I belonged in this era
or perhaps in the past, a simpler past...
"Things were not as simple in the past"
but I was too afraid to say "no where"

Didn't matter anyways

excellent piece... drifted right in and felt the frustration and loneliness.

I feel the intensity of the ache in this excellent poem, Juju.  I am sorry that you are in this position.
