brilliance
comes, goes
as if someone
reached over
to extinguish

I – trying
to grasp it
until time
promotes
recording

is life
spouting
“grab it now
while you’re able–
hold on

bold
onto the page!
don’t allow
life’s pace
to erase
profundity.
pull threads
from your head
weave it
into lines

wisdom–
tantalizing
thought–
spliced into
a mural,

a landscape
of creation
splaying
the horizon
with truth’s beauty”
