The more I open up
my eyes

I see an item
of
invisible

Gobs of view and
lumps
of cold

My spirit barely
is, unsold

Each day I leave a
soft
impression

On
the glower
of
the earth

All the full I, didn’t
fill

Is the empty
of
my worth

The stillness tries to quickly read

What
our pace records

But the wind of history
chooses

What, it can
afford

Every gait
of our
achievement

And,
the footsteps of
defeat

Always go and then
return

As they then
repeat

The thoughts that
choose
to live with us

Define
who we become

The feelings that we keep
from others

Total up, our sum

I’m glad the part of
you
I met

Is now
a part of me

Sharing is the only
cost

That can make us
free

the winds bring then retake
and the cycle is never ending
the sharing validates what would
otherwise be an empty fullness
