Bring on the Ides It wasn’t until the early morn That the March of Ides was born In this year Twenty-Fifteen That’s when the winds were howling green! The month had started warm and slow And kept the ancients’ howls so low But not one could ‘ere stem the tide Of the greatest March of Ides! So now ye all – this cold, first blast Yet ‘tis the season – may she last, For no snow shall fall, but may bring rain And we shall don long daisy chains. Be kind to all, the season asks, Seems to me, a most simple task! © KRJ 3-16-15 In loving Memory of Louise Ryan on St. Paddy’s Day |

The Ides are blowing here today, as well. Happy St Patrick's Day to you Karilea... Remember to fill your hand bag with Leprechauns before stepping out this fine day |

Eh . . . Calm and peaceful down here in this Louisiana Swamp. Finally fixed the speakers and listened to your interview. Kinda long, but you were as informative on the subject of novel writing as it was possible to be. Great job!!! ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

LOL...what can I say, Jerry? It was a radio show! Thanks for listening! We are currently under a red alert for fires here...and the winds last night certainly didn't help the "dry" situation. Keep us in your thoughts. |

Ah, but I love the hope and prayer that this poem brings me on a chilly, gray morning. May the road rise to meet us all. A |

A beautiful rendition, K... and a beautiful sentiment as well. Indeed, not too much to ask. Michael |

A lot of people are happy to see spring this year. The weather has been hot here and we sure could use some rain. Ida |
