If I could sing... It would be about those deep intimate connections Among the senses Implications Enhancing background sounds You know the ones, which waken beside you Sleepy eyed… All over & around... Like some invisible mist, tugging at your shores Back, back, back we once again sail To an almost familiar moment compilation of sweet tasting noise & smells Feeling some eccentric awareness Of honeyed stimulus, which parallels Can you feel it? Biting, nibbling, savoring… Immersing deep within yourself, Pause, and touch those insights thrashing To become blazon physical wealth ahhh those inspirations…. kick started such phenomenon? Illuminations…sparkling magnificence In a dwelling of sacred imagined thoughts Release yourself, and allow this hypnotic Infinite presence of nature… To awaken that acquainted sentient sound… unwind to a song of mystery clandestine tones swirling around ********** ... Oh drat ... my poor poor limited concepts Defeating all purpose of rhyme…. It is there & yet…reaching out Waiting to be all mine Trying to define something we’ve never known But feel the volume aglow Those are images which softly whisper Gently erupting voices, like a whimper can you feel it all aglow? Such beauty of places we’ve doubted, yet known? Professing the incarnation of sunsets & song What our hearts yearn for, yet profess Where lovely infinitely belongs & rests With reverence…..liberation devours the core Surpasses happy and penetrates the soul Compilation gifting understanding Infinite origin & spirits expanding A place where radiance dwells in sacred sounds… Beyond the volume of encompassing surround In a song to whom I once said “hello” In some definition of time long ago Still...it appears in my lighter version of rhyme and for certain has been a long long time [This message has been edited by LeeJ (03-12-2015 01:56 PM).] |

Ahhh . . . Someone else who likes the "drat" word. I find that very refreshing. This is an excellent piece of writing LeeJ. You give is much to contemplate, and I did my share. I read it twice, not because I couldn't understand it, but because I loved it. Oh no, I understood it very well thank you. All these lingering sights and smells and half remembered phrases, and best of all it all "unwind to a song of mystery." And everybody loves a mystery. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

LeeJ, It is so good to read you again, being exported into a world of sensory perception! Many of your stanzas were simply exquisite! Much enjoyed! Misc |
