~~~
Wake up in the morning
face
a ghastly fright
cheeks a little hollow
gills
a deathly white
Your eyes sunk back
lost
without a trace
Tongue...
you just can't describe the taste
Your twisted spine
makes your stomach sore
Woozing waves... mostly vomit
engulf the trailer floor
You sift through the ooze
as you grope for a shoe
Spot a picture on camera
someone snapped just for you
You hear the white phone
try to focus your gaze
trip out the door
kissing grass in a daze
Those shots on the camera
some funny... some crude
look exactly like someone
who looks exactly
like you
~~~

Hah! Yeah, I have to admit I have been where this poem takes us. Many times. And yep, it is not a good place to be, but I don't know about you, but I kept going back for more, more, more. How in the world I lived over it is a miracle. Jimmy is right, it is very funny.

Must be a guy thing! As far as a good time goes, you lost me at vomit. But the poem was rather humorous. I liked it in spite of myself. ~L

Made me laugh.  And the moral of this story is, if you don't really like cleaning up vomit and watching yourself be an idiot on YouTube, stick to Diet Coke. Which is something some people need a lot of teaching to learn.
