I think I’ll go a-wandering, a-skipping down the track.
I think I’ll smell the salty tide and follow shadows back
To all the days I used to know,
To all the meadows far away,
To all the words I did not say
And all the places I can’t go.

Call it once,
Call it twice,
Call it here,
Toss the dice.

Roll the bones,
Shake and rattle.
Watch them fall

Lose the battle.

I wish I’d never seen its face, so furry-sweet in memory.
I wish I’d never held it close and thought its purr was meant to be
For me, a child that no one knew,
For me, a lass closed in a shell,
For me, the girl afraid to tell
Anyone what it would do.

Call it here,
Call it now,
Call it Love,
Laugh and bow.

Throw the sticks,
watch them scatter
Pick them up

What’s the matter?

I think I’ll go a-wandering, a-hopping to and fro.
I think I’ll play like all is well and no one had to go,
To run and hide from silver skies,
To run to cower in the sea;
To run or die, or cease to be
Like people were…but dreams are lies.

Call it up,
Call it forth,
Call it now,
Bet the Earth.

Nan (Pilgrim variety)

Very cool thoughts...i was feeling it all,  the innocence and the fear,  and all the days and years gone by.  It's true, there is so much change and so much that remains the same.

Happy day!!
