Like the former and the present
we
will never meet

We are here together in a world
of incomplete

Every want that we
have shared
never will be fed

Every thought too hard to write
never
will be read

Why is it that all the softest
skin
is in a dream

Why is every act of yearning
parted
by a seam

How can anything be real that
you cannot
hold

How can meaning turn to matter
if
it’s only told

We are in a world defined
as,
simply in effect

We are what impossible is,
trying
to perfect

We are every last, in essence,
dying to be true

We are all the sea and sky
both,
forever blue

In my opinion, you have embarked upon a new style of writing, or maybe my interpretation in the past as been insufficient, Whether you have changed your style or I have fine tuned my interpretation. Whatever, we're riding in the fast lane now.

Your ending says it all for me.
Made my eyes water..i felt every thought and emotion as if it were my own.

I like this.  It seems to tell me that we can only be 'we' if we are together.  And so often, any more, we can't be.  I especially find it true of internet relationships. We seem to be so close, but how can we be?

dear Bluesy... yes, water, the ocean, the sea, it always seems to be the common thread in much of our writing...

even spilling out of our eyes every now and again..

i wish there was a way we could stay more in touch.. but you know me I'll probably wander away as soon as the next wind picks up..

thanks for always, being there

you will always be very special to me

thank you Alison, what a special treat to hear from you and know that you are still in contact with this place..

i think for me its been 12 years now or so.. that's a fair piece of time isn't it.. i still remember the early years when i wasnt working for a spell, sitting up late at night and having convo's with you and others.. keeping each other company in a sense way before myspace and facebook!

i hope all is well up alaska way..

we keep hearing all the ice is melting

its probably from that big warm heart of your's...

take care my friend, nice to hear from you..
