the world is aghast aghast, but time with response fearful fearful of men who do great harm in the name of religion eh . . . the same old same old pure evil has been a part of mankind since inception there are plenty of evil recorded in the Bible but of course some of it dictated from pious mouths ISIS uses the media expertly showing men in orange jump suits handcuffed in a long line and each prisoner escorted by a black-suited TALL guard each doomed prisoner has a TALL guard that is for effect guard are TALL to give the impression they are invincible it seems that the plan is working so-called world powers sit on their hands close their eyes do nothing savagery and terror has been with us as long as love and kindness not much has changed over time except maybe the long awaited new Apple iPhone 20006 whatever dreadful horror throughout the ages and nothing has changed eh, except the iPhone 20006 oh, yes I did forget something has changed we are a much more populated world now we are hi-tech the barbarians are hip and flood the Internet with their message enticing young women from good, rich families to leave for the Middle East to help evil, brainwashed to the hilt terror now comes to us on our iPhone 20006 desk-or-laptop we can watch people being set on fire and the all-time favorite beheadings young, very young children barely able to hold a gun shooting a man who has been made to kneel for murder the list goes on and on young boys and girls raped, beaten its all there on the iPhone 20006 watch for the next installment of terror also you might want to look out the window they are coming unless somebody with the power to do it stops ISIS and those of their ilk ©February 26, 2015 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

people just want to close their eyes and do nothing as long as it doesn't touch their own cozy worlds. But thanks to poets like you, we hope more eyes will open to this lurking terror in our midst. |

Telling it as it is: hi-tech barbarism. As a species we haven't really moved on from Attila, Ivan and Caligula. We just add a dose of science. Busying away, trying to find more efficient and more disturbing ways to kill each other Well done, Jerry. |
