The sky has never let me
enter

Through the threshold of
its home

It always said I wasn’t
welcome

That my kind does, not
belong

Gravity is prejudicial

All I wanted was
to fly

All these laws are meant to
scare us

Save your tears
the clouds are dry

All those suns so
far away

There was never up and down

They have never been above us

There is only
swim or drown

We wake and sleep and never learn

That night and day
both
get along

We’re the melody that
never

Sang the verse of our
belong

The ground has always been
so kind

Catching us each time we
fall

Purity is overrated

Lay with me within
the sprawl

Rules were never good at dreaming

The other side of how
is why

There is no such thing as day

There is only,
spinning light

We’re the babe of night and day

There is much more black
than white

At night I look at all
the stars

And know there is no
wrong or right

There is only yearn and
years

In the dust our spirit
writes

We are aimlessly
adrift

In the hope, of love
that might

We’re the dirt of in between

Future never made

Soil
mates
inside forever

Filthy shades
of gray

A well spun tapestry here.  Just touching the fringes of darkness.  Enjoyed.
