 photo sunset-amazing-beach-beauty-clouds-colors-nature-ocean-sand-sunlight-sunset-waves_zps6fwfmvkc.jpg

I guess this spot is
good
as any

The bridge I’m on has
no more teeth

Before is still, afraid
to give

Then, is still
afraid
to live

I never even met her
needs

I was never
introduced

But I see her as the sand

Shining in the surf
seduced

Let me covet you with
promise

Only sightless dreams can keep

We will use our mouths for
silence

Language really is
release

The earth is on its knees
again

Taking in the sky

All the light is once again

Underneath
the night

Wishes try to whet the
hunger

With their daily useless,
words

Life is just a breeze of
cages

Love is just a wounded
bird

It’s hard to breathe without
the meaning

That is always,
hid

“You don’t love her anymore,
why, what happened?

“Well, you did”

Sometimes we need to work it out with a dialogue to ourselves as you so eloquently did here, Richy.

Your poetry touches deeply...your choice of words is a poetic panorama.
Like a breathtaking sunset, the quiet beauty is bittersweet as it submits to the darkness.

Like I said, I really do miss you when you are gone.

I've missed you Richy.  Your pic is magnificent!  Your poem, painfully poignant.

Your words still hold their magic. It is good to have you back.

Fantastic, Richy showed up on Pip again! And well, it's a treat to read your poetry again.

You are quite complex, deep and yet soft in a way, I like your words very much.
