Beyond Silent Tides

Swell the lips and hips in scented fullness,
Oh contented secrets divisible by only one
In foil, aloof the preponderance of time, eerily clad in mist and cloud
Regaled to the centerfold of wit and want
Black lace before dawn rises up upon her bosom of white
Unfold the flower in manicured strum, parched before the waves of gold
It is only this whisper worth its murmured lullaby
Calling, calling…
Ebb and flow of all the heart can hold, all in prayer foretold
Against the rocky cleave and scoured beach where said these once truthful words
Churn and heap upon the fulcrum of desire vast and warm
Then calm, long drawn in breath of morning, I stand as ever here

"Ebb and flow of all the heart can hold, all in prayer foretold..."  just loved that line - a whole poem in itself!!

Beautiful piece...loved reading it...

Incredible imagery, dear Kathleen. To find this masterpiece today is a precious gift.

You stir so many emotions and interpretations here, it is overwhelming.

Love,
Margherita

Oh my yes indeed . . .
quote:
Unfold the flower in manicured strum, parched before the waves of gold
It is only this whisper worth its murmured lullaby

What a fantastically penned poem of love forevermore. I deeply loved this, Kathleen.
