Fair to middlin' of nowhere

You, my sweet husband
that I adore,
I find each day
that I love you more and more.
You possessed my heart
right from the start.
No matter how crazy I may be,
I know you will always be
the only one for me.
No one has ever loved me
the way you do.
You love me inside out
and through and through.
My heart is content.
It is safe and secure.
With you I know that
whatever the future holds
I can endure.
You make me laugh
and as happy as I can be.
That is not something
one does easily.
I’m complicated
and hard to understand
and that’s what makes you
such a very special man.
You’ve hung tough
when things got rough.
You always see it through
to the other side.
To say I’m your wife,
fills me with pride.
I know there are things
you’d change if you could –
fewer bills and more firewood.
You are a good man
trying to live like you should.
I’m blessed to be able
to share this life with you,
Knock on wood.

A very beautiful, poignant and joyful Valentine, dear Lori!

I am sure your husband got teary eyed when you read it to him!
