At twilight time
I walked down the hill
touching the grass
in dreamlike lightness.
Nature alone echoed
the tune of my heart.

Suddenly your hand
touched my shoulder.
I fell out of rhythm
but you smiled and asked
“Can I have this dance?”
My quivering smile said yes
and the world closed in over us.

Our eyes locked
magic took hold of our feet,
mine followed yours.
No math was required,
magnets know by heart every move.
Stars exploded around us
single sparks sizzled
within our core.

We were pure grace
pointing to the sky,
a flock of birds
moving in perfect harmony
across the indigo space.
No words no whispers,
just dancing soul vibes
within bodies orbiting
around the same sun.

THIS is pure joy, Margherita . . . Ahhh . . . I remember . . . This beautiful poem has brought it all back to me. How I felt holding her and how, when she looked up at me shivers of electricity attacked my heart. Yes, this is how it was . . .

What superb words you use in this piece but this verse exploded to me.

Romance captured with such delicacy of pen. Intimate moments captured and enhanced in their unique existence. Their importance elevated above the vastness of our star.

It's been a long while since I was last here in this forum. Now I know what I've missed- reading beautiful magical poems such as this.

I particularly like this one:
