War Is Over
Senryu's

Twenty One I cried
Decembers cold night I sang
A voice of his light

Today is Christmas
Snow flakes remind of that night
Crystallized peace signs

And War Is Over
And the words live on, although

Thank you Parker for the url. It is ironic now as we are again waiting for a long war or many mixed wars to be over. But the hope and smiles on those beautiful faces bought a touch of hope.I guess we live on hope once again. Jo Perry

Welcome back, James Parker! It's always nice to see old Pip Poets coming back! Merry Christmas to you too.

Thank you for the moving video and your matching senryu, which I enjoyed.

If only we would put some greater efforts into reaching peace, it would be possible. War can indeed be over IF WE WANT TO. But sadly the true peace operators - though their number is growing - obviously have not yet reached the critical mass needed to defeat the material interests involved in wars.

But let us not lose Hope and let's go on diffusing the true Spirit of Christmas, which is Love and Peace.
