I think it would be easier explaining distance planets
That i’ve never been to, than that of amorousness.
I’d rather stare up into the skies and let the light pollution
fade away to uncover the stars, than try to unveil the
descriptions of my feelings.
I’m not trying to push you away by not letting on the
many ways I can express myself but do not’ i’m not
threatened with the ideas of revealing myself to you--
nor afraid to paint a picture hang it out in a common-place
for all to see, but I do not do these things, not from lack of,
never.
i’m comfortable, as comfortable as when it rains and the leaves
bow down, the grass bends, the puddles form.
They know again, and again, these motions they will take, it
has already happened.
I don’t think I need a hurricane to stir things up, or a typhoon
to batter my senses, lean your head on my shoulder and lets
watch those uncovered stars together.

Absolutely beautiful, dear Lee. Even eye-contact is a conversation and if the stars reflect in them, what else is needed to understand?

Hah! Margherita says how I feel. Still, the currents we have running through our senses are sometimes irresistible. Thought provoking poetry . . .
