I've acquired a taste for you
all the joy you bring
with your secure embrace
and your tantalizing lips
its been forever since
I've been kissed like that

I've acquired a need for you
the sound of your bliss
such a beautiful melody
hearing your magnificent voice
calling out my name-
I sigh with pleasure

Your eyes pierce through me
under those dark lashes of yours
like you know my secret
and I'm left there open
my heart exposed

I've acquired a taste for love
and it sickens me so.

Loved the poem very much, but the last two lines spoiled it for me.

So you are saying you are "lovesick", dear Trina.

You rendered this blissful state beautifully.

Though it's a blessed "condition", there is that inner turmoil because of this tremendous involvement that makes us vulnerable too.
