They're making headlines between black and white Where everything's wrong small print out of sight So if you're caught up in that distorted rage You'll cruise along lost in the phase. I wish I had a mental white hard hat A caution warning mind A growing desire exposing the lies With a chance to change moral demise It was batman superman saving the world Helping out all those in need An comic books were heaven every kid read em Where only bad men were brought to their knees Now I'm getting older but I'm still fair Don't wanna cop out when no one shares But I can't change the spirit of the air In a world gone wrong where no one cares I wish I had a mental white hard hat A caution warning mind A growing desire exposing the lies With a chance to change moral demise true love never looks after it's own interests |

So true Eric! How frustrating the times are and we feel so helpless to change things. Not that people aren't trying to create change, change that was supposed to have taken place decades ago, but the powers that be have turned a deaf ear. As always, radical behavior muddies the water and diverts attention from constructive progress.  |

Dear Eric, it is a pleasure to find you here today after a long pause. I understand you speak especially about the American and Canadian situation, but sadly the lack of moral commitment in our society is a worldwide phenomenon. But there are many who work for the change and if the critical mass will be reached, things (and humans!) are bound to change. Love, honesty and responsibility are their tools. I hope to be proven wrong, but I personally see nothing but negative change in our future, as a country, for sometime to come, unless there is great change in our governing bodies - Republican, Democrate, Tea-party; right now they all suck in my opinion, and differ very little in their political agenda's, which have nothing to do with the will of the people. That's proven every time their lips flutter! Agree with your words . . . well said. jimmy |
